During FY 2025–2026, Maruti Suzuki intends to open 500 service centers, of which 91 have already been established, the company said.

Today, Maruti Suzuki India declared the opening of its 5,500th service location in the country.

The company intends to open about 500 additional service touchpoints in FY26, even though the milestone unit has already opened in Udaipur.

There are currently 2,764 service locations for the biggest automaker in the nation. In FY25, it added 460 additional service touchpoints.

Maruti's service network now has about 40,000 service bays, including the new workshop in Udaipur. According to the automaker, the vast network can serve 30 million vehicles annually.

"One of the key factors most customers consider when purchasing a new car is the availability of a proximate and convenient service workshop, one that offers genuine and reliable service at a reasonable price, giving them total peace of mind. To meet this need, we have been able to establish 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities, with the help of our dealer partners," said Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India.

"In FY25, we added 460 new service touchpoints, which is more than one every single day. We plan to continue these efforts and aim to add around 500 new service touchpoints during this financial year, of which we have already set up 91 touchpoints," he said.

In FY25, Maruti serviced more than 27 million cars, the most ever in a fiscal year.

Maruti sells new automobiles through its Nexa and Arena stores. The Alto K10, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, and Ertiga are all part of the Arena portfolio. The Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, and Invicto are some of the Nexa models.

However, in terms of servicing, there isn't any such division. The same service touchpoint can be used to service both the Nexa and Arena versions.

Additionally, an invitation has been handed out by Maruti Suzuki on September 3, 2025. On that day, the brand's first electric car, the e-Vitara, is anticipated to be introduced. This SUV is one of the most anticipated EV debuts of the year since it is Maruti Suzuki's first electric model available in the Indian market.

The e-Vitara will face off against well-known competitors such as the Hyundai Creta EV, BE.06, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV in the expanding market for electric SUVs. The e-Vitara is currently available for purchase in the UK, providing important details about its features and performance capabilities, but the Indian version has not yet been completely unveiled.
