Mirati Therapeutics, a clinical stage biotechnology company, appoints Jenny Gizzi as Vice President of Human Resources. She will be directly reporting to Charles M Baum, M.D., Ph.D., President & CEO of Mirati Therapeutics.

Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Charles states, “Jenny brings deep knowledge and insight of talent acquisition and management in the biopharmaceutical industry and is an invaluable addition to the Mirati team. This critical perspective will help us maintain our dynamic culture as we further advance our programs and continue our growth into a premier targeted oncology company.”

Jenny brings in around 20 years of experience in HR to Mirati Therapeutics. Lately, she served as the Head of Strategy & operations, Business Insights and Analytics at Bristol-Myers Squibb. While at Bristol- Myers Squibb, in the initial stage of her career Jenny has also served as the Head of HR for the Bay Area & Cambridge and Head
of Global Talent for European Markets, Australia, and Canada. At Bristol Myer Squibb, she was responsible for heading global talent acquisition for eight markets across 13 countries, and also leading the international team specializing in creation of overall talent strategy. Prior to Bristol- Myers Squibb, she was associated with Illumina, as the Head of global talent acquisition.

In her new role, Jenny is expected to handle all aspects of the Company’s HR operations and strategy. She would also be monitoring the planning, development, implementation and administration of Mirati’s HR programs. Furthermore, Jenny would also manage long range human resources planning to assist Mirati with it continued growth.
