A London-based tech company, Nothing, has announced the appointment of Hemant Kundavaram as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Indian operations.

Kundavaram, who has over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, possesses significant knowledge in fundraising, managing investor relations, navigating IPOs, and overseeing capital market activities to support the company's financial strategy in a crucial market.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005, Kundavaram's career has included positions at Ford India, IBM, Thomson Reuters, and Rockwell Collins. In 2015, he transitioned to ventures led by promoters. His most recent role was CFO at PMI Electromobility. This onboarding represents the second notable senior leadership appointment for Nothing India, following Akis Evangelidis's selection as India President.

Kundavaram expressed enthusiasm about joining the company: “The journey of Nothing to date has been incredibly impressive. I am thrilled to be part of this new phase as we enhance our growth and strengthen our presence in India. I aim to establish a robust financial framework that supports rapid expansion and enriches the brand’s vision for India.”

Hemant’s established skills in financial management and capital strategy will be crucial as we rapidly scale operations and expand our footprint in India".

"With his addition to the team, we are solidifying our foundation to boost growth and achieve our goal of expanding from India to a global stage.”

Recently, the company noted impressive results in Q2 2025, demonstrating a remarkable 146 percent year-over-year growth, making it the fastest-growing smartphone brand in India for the sixth straight quarter (Source: Counterpoint Q2 2025 Smartphone Shipment Tracker), highlighting India's increasing significance as a vital market for Nothing’s global ambitions.
