Nutanix Appointed Anantharaman Balakrishnan as its New VP and MD of Sales for India

Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), an enterprise cloud OS leader welcomed the veteran IT leader Anantharaman Balakrishnan as its new Vice President and Managing Director of Sales for India. His appointment follows increased investment in its India business by Nutanix including an expansion of its engineering and support operations. Balakrishnan who has 25+ years of experience in IT industry management will be responsible to drive the enterprise cloud OS leader’s growth and ambitions in India whereas his appointment reaffirms Nutanix’s leadership credentials in the county.

Prior to Nutanix, he was heading Amazon Web Services’ Financial Services and manufacturing verticals for the large enterprise business in India where he not only crafted the India Go to Market segment but also aided in enhancing the business significantly during his tenure.

Before Amazon, Anantharaman served Dell EMC for eight long years under various roles starting from senior sales and leadership roles to senior director, global services lead.
