Pahwa Group's Bry-Air and DRI Organize Sports Day for Students

The Pahwa Group's flagship firms, Bry-Air and DRI, held a Sports Day for the students of Bry-Air Pathshala and DRI Pathshala in honor of the International Day of Education.

Over 255 students participated in the program, which was held for the Pathshala students at the Literacy India playground in Bajghera village, Gurugram.

Speaking on the occasion, Anandita Pahwa, Head - CSR, Bry-Air & DRI, said, “The celebration of International Day of Education underscores our dedication to encourage elevation of the society.

Sports Day was planned with the intention of encouraging children's general development in order to promote inclusive education.

Anandita further went on to say, “As part of the endeavor, understanding that education plays a pivotal role in shaping society and securing the future of children, we have been relentlessly working towards empowering underprivileged children with the power of knowledge”.

The flagship companies conduct classes in Carterpuri village and Dharam Colony, respectively, under the names Bry-Air Pathshala and DRI Pathshala.

“In the pursuit, the Sports Day on the occasion of International Day of Education promotes the overall development of the children while instilling sportsmanship in them, enabling them to navigate the future with sheer wisdom”, added Anandita.

 

Since 2011 and 2014, respectively, the Group has been closely collaborating with the non-governmental organization Literacy India to further the goal of giving impoverished children access to education.

The Group is unwaveringly committed to giving impoverished children free education as part of its mission to ensure that education is available to all. To accomplish this goal, the Group effectively offers a primary school setting, enabling kids from outlying areas of the cities to receive a top-notch education.

Bry-Air and DRI, committed to upholding social responsibility as a responsible corporation, are always working to enable young people and women to become self-sufficient. In order to accomplish this goal, the Group offers skill development programs in a variety of subjects with the intention of assisting women and girls in becoming independent members of society. For this reason, they offer training in a variety of subjects, including computer literacy, beautician and tailoring, and sewing machines, along with the kits needed to start their own small businesses and take care of their families' daily expenses.

To instill enthusiasm among the children, Bry-Air and DRI, conducted a range of activities, namely, spoon race, relay race, 50-meter race, 100-meter race, three-legged race, sack race, and tug of war, etc., to name a few, to inculcate sportsmanship in students right from their formative years.
