Panda Retail Names Ayman AlGhamdi as Chief Human Capital Officer
Panda Retail Company, part of Savola Group, has revealed the immediate appointment of Ayman AlGhamdi as its new Chief Human Capital Officer. AlGhamdi announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post, sharing his enthusiasm for assuming the new leadership position at one of the largest retail organizations in the Kingdom.
AlGhamdi is an experienced HR and shared services leader with over twenty years of expertise, having worked in public, private, and government-owned organizations, including executive positions in Saudi Arabia’s fast-changing sectors.
Most recently, he held the position of Chief Human Capital Officer at Cruise Saudi, an entity of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he directed strategic workforce transformation efforts in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals.

He has previously held the positions of CHRO and Shared Services Officer at Saudi Ground Services, HR Head at Savola Group, and Country HR Head at Procter & Gamble. At the start of his career, he launched his professional path at SABIC as a Mechanical Engineer.

Over his career, AlGhamdi has been acknowledged for spearheading organizational transformation, advancing leadership development, planning the workforce, cultivating culture, implementing total rewards strategies, enhancing governance, and innovating digital HR. He has also played a role in national talent advancement through his participation in advisory and sector-specific skills development councils.
Additionally, he has been a member of Nomination and Remuneration Committees in various listed companies and government agencies in sectors like healthcare, aviation, education, investment, technology, food manufacturing, and sports, aiding governance and aligning workforce strategies with business goals.
AlGhamdi possesses an MBA and an Executive Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Open University Malaysia, an Executive Programme in Business and Strategic Leadership from INSEAD, an Executive Leadership Programme from ESADE Business School, an IMD Board Director Diploma, along with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering awarded by King Abdulaziz University.
