PeakAmp Names Aditya Prakash and Akhil Yerawar as Co-Founders

PeakAmp, a company specializing in battery circularity, has enhanced its management team by promoting Aditya Prakash to Co-Founder and appointing Akhil Yerawar as Co-Founder. This strategic move comes as the company expands its efforts to establish India's premier end-of-life battery management platform.
Founded in 2024 by Vijay Gond and Aditya Sudhanshu, PeakAmp is in the process of creating India's inaugural comprehensive technological solution designed to streamline the collection, sorting, and reprocessing of lithium-ion batteries.

In addition to these key functions, PeakAmp's innovative platform encompasses repurposing batteries for second-life applications and extracting high-purity materials, all with the goal of promoting a sustainable circular economy for batteries through strategic alliances and cutting-edge technology.
Akhil Yerawar, a recipient of the Gold Medal from IIM Raipur, brings more than 10 years of diverse experience in green energy, management consulting, banking, and consumer sectors.
He will be serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing strategic growth initiatives, building relationships with investors, collaborating with government and regulatory entities, and developing commercial strategies for second-life battery applications.
Aditya Prakash, with a rich history in the evolution of PeakAmp, offers over three years of expertise in battery recycling operations, circular supply chains, and sustainability efforts. His extensive experience encompasses the management of logistics, establishment of ecosystem collaborations, and the enhancement of processes using data-driven strategies within the realm of lithium-ion technologies.

In his recent appointment, Aditya will spearhead the strategic planning, operational oversight, and implementation, with a primary emphasis on expanding supply-chain infrastructures, fortifying collaborations, and fostering operational excellence throughout the battery life cycle.
Commenting on his elevation, Aditya Prakash, Co-Founder, PeakAmp says, “I’m excited to take on the role at a pivotal moment for both PeakAmp and India’s EV ecosystem. As electric mobility scales, building reliable, compliant, and technology-driven battery after-life solutions becomes critical".
"I look forward to leading the team in strengthening our operational foundations and scaling systems that ensure every end-of-life battery is responsibly channelled back into productive use”.
Akhil Yerawar, Co-Founder, PeakAmp adds, “Joining PeakAmp as a Co-Founder is an exciting opportunity to help build a company that is addressing one of the most important challenges in India’s clean energy transition. By combining strong execution with compliant and commercially viable circular solutions, we aim to scale in step with the country’s EV growth”.
India's market for electric vehicles is projected to grow quickly in the next 10 years, resulting in a considerable rise in used batteries. Analysts in the industry suggest that there will be a growing disparity between the current capacity for recycling and the anticipated demand.
PeakAmp seeks to fill this void with its comprehensive approach, which includes the safe collection of batteries, diagnostics-driven repurposing for a second life, and the recovery of materials with a purity level exceeding 99 percent.
