PepsiCo Promotes Monica Sanchez y Madrid to Senior HR Director

PepsiCo has promoted Monica Sanchez y Madrid to Senior Director of HR for Global Commercial and New Revenue Streams, broadening her responsibilities within the organization’s worldwide operations.
Sanchez y Madrid revealed her new role in March 2026, signifying an advancement in her over ten-year career at the food and beverage giant.
In her new position, she will manage HR for PepsiCo’s global commercial division and new revenue sources, highlighting the company’s commitment to merging commercial, data, and platform capabilities to foster growth.
The rise occurs as major consumer goods firms progressively adjust their business models to align with digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and emerging business areas.
Sanchez y Madrid has dedicated more than a decade to PepsiCo in various high-level HR leadership positions across different regions.
Most recently, she held the position of Senior Director, Talent Management – International, where she directed talent strategy throughout Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Before that, she held the position of Senior Director, Workforce Management for Latin America, directing regional workforce transformation projects and HR operations.

Her previous positions at PepsiCo involved overseeing HR shared services and talent acquisition, gaining experience in both strategic and operational HR areas.
