PhonePe's Pincode and Simpli Namdhari's Join Forces to Expand Customer Reach
Pincode, a homegrown store-first commerce app by PhonePe, has announced a partnership with Simpli Namdhari’s, a leading 100 percent vegetarian omnichannel retailer in India. According to an official statement from the company, this collaboration aims to expand Pincode's online customer base by offering a wide range of groceries, fresh fruits, vegetables, and other premium FMCG products to Bengaluru residents.
Vivek Lohcheb, CEO of Pincode said, "Namdhari’s are known for being one of the largest exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables in India, and now their products are available on Pincode as well”. Pincode has been working to empower local businesses to thrive alongside the e-commerce boom.
Lohcheb added, “By partnering with us, merchants can seamlessly digitize their shops as we provide them with all the expertise they need to go online while leveraging our extensive network to drive online demand”. According to the CEO, Pincode has over 2 million registered users and approximately 1.5 million orders have been processed to date.
Gurmukh Singh Roopra, CEO of Simpli Namdhari’s said, "In addition to our e-commerce platform, the Pincode app will help drive more online orders for Simpli Namdharis by offering our extensive catalogue of over 5,000 products across fresh fruit and vegetables, staples, dairy, FMCG and more to customers”.
Pincode offers comprehensive support to merchants with training, dedicated dashboards, and a mobile app for daily operations, enabling them to manage their digital stores independently. The platform provides free delivery, seasonal incentives, and reliable order fulfillment, ensuring a smooth transition for merchants into the digital marketplace.
