Planetcast CEO Resigns; Sanjay Bhat to Lead Next Growth Phase

Planetcast, a media services company, has experienced a significant change in leadership as Sanjay Duda, a long-time executive, has resigned as CEO with immediate effect. This move signifies the conclusion of Duda's lengthy tenure at the company, spanning over several decades.
Despite stepping down, Duda will remain in an advisory role for the following year to facilitate a seamless transition.

Planetcast has appointed Sanjay Bhat as their new CEO. Bhat has extensive operational and commercial experience in technology-driven environments, having previously led British Telecom's India business.

The company introduced Planetcast International last year, which caters to the increasing global need for cloud-based media workflows that improve the efficiency of video enhancement, security, and distribution.

In a similar leadership decision, the company has named Suneel Khare as the Chief Technology Officer - Digital. Khare, who has more than 25 years of experience, is anticipated to lead Planetcast's digital innovation, cloud engineering, and next-generation services strategy. His selection highlights the company's dedication to enhancing its technological capabilities within the new leadership framework.
Duda leaving his position at Planetcast signifies the end of a certain time period, but his ongoing advisory role will help maintain consistency during the change. Bhat taking over as the new leader comes at a time when there is a growing need for cloud-based solutions in the media-tech industry, which will help Planetcast grow in its next stage, both in India and internationally.
