PLRC, Mankind Pharma Presents Mankind's Indian VETexpo 2023
PAWS Learning & Research Council-India, in collaboration with Mankind Pharma, hosted Mankind's Indian VETexpo 2023 in New Delhi at A P Shinde Symposium, NASC Complex, PUSA. The event endeavored to bring together the many stakeholders in the pet sector to raise awareness and promote a higher standard of veterinary care throughout India.
More than 400 young vets attended the event, which was opened by Hon'ble Minister Sh. Somnath Bharti. It gave a venue for more than 40 pet companies to display their products. Mankind Pharma relaunched PetStar at the event to continue its expansion into the pet care industry.
The product, which had previously been launched a month before, was reintroduced to the audience in order to increase recall value by keeping them aware about new pet food on the market. PetStar was created by the firm in order to become a well-liked, delicious, nutritious, and healthy food brand for pets (dogs & cats).
“We at PLRC are continuously working towards creating a healthy ecosystem for pets. And in line with this, we have been regularly organizing these events and workshops across the country for the last three years. With the help of Mankind’s Indian VETexpo 2023, we focused on creating as much awareness as possible with the help of industry experts”, says DR .R T Shrama from The Board of Directors of PLRC.
PLRC took a more comprehensive approach, hosting a presentation by Vet Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma to educate the audience on the risk of early heart illness in dogs. In addition, doctors (Dr.) Nick Bexfield, Dr. ED IVES, Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma, and Dr. (Prof.) Arun Anand raised awareness about pet health issues such as liver disease, endocrinology, neurology, dentistry, and cardiology.
In the words of, Rajeev Juneja, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Mankind Pharma said, “In an attempt to build and support the pet care ecosystem, it is crucial to give healthy and nutritious food to the pets. Understanding that nowadays pet parents strive to give the best to their four-legged companion, we joined hands with PLRC to spread awareness about the right food and diet packed with the required nutrients for fulfilling the body requirements of the pets.”
Dr. P S Bindra from Jammu, Dr. J C Kochar from Chandigarh, Dr. Anil Sood from New Delhi, Dr. S C Aggarwal from Lucknow, and Dr. S P Singh from Shimla were honored with lifetime achievement awards at Mankind's Indian VETexpo 2023 for their dedication, hard work, and grit to serve the four-legged furry friends.
Mankind Pharma joined forces with PLRC to develop a trusted collaboration with 'pawrents' to raise awareness about the importance of pet diet and nutrition for a healthy pet life.
