
PM Modi to Inaugurate Multiple Development Projects in Gujarat

During his visit to Gujarat on February 24 and 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil several development projects totaling more than Rs 52,250 crore that will benefit the nation's roads, rails, electricity, tourism, and health.
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Modi will open five All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, Gujarat; Bathinda, Punjab; Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh; Kalyani, West Bengal; and Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, in a major move to improve the nation's tertiary healthcare system. These amenities will be officially opened by him at a public event in Rajkot.
The prime minister will officially open the 'Sudarshan Setu', which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 980 crore and connects the Beyt Dwarka island to the Okha mainland, at a celebration in Dwarka. According to the PMO, the 2.32-kilometer cable-stayed bridge is the longest of its kind in the nation.

According to reports, Sudarshan Setu has a distinctive design with a walkway flanked by pictures of Lord Krishna and quotes from the Bhagavad Gita.
According to the statement, solar panels are also erected on the upper sections of the walkway, producing one megawatt of electricity. Before the bridge's erection, pilgrims had to travel to Beyt Dwarka by boat.

Modi will launch a pipeline project at Vadinar, among other initiatives, that will replace current offshore lines, remove the current pipeline end manifold (PLEM), and move the complete system to a new, nearby location. Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 200 healthcare infrastructure projects totaling more than Rs 11,500 crore in 23 states and Union territories, while in his home state.
Among numerous other health initiatives across the nation, he would open a 300-bed satellite center of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical and Educational Research (PGIMER) in Sangrur, Punjab, and a medical college of JIPMER in Karaikal, Puducherry. 'Nisarg Gram', a 250-bed National Institute of Naturopathy in Pune, will also be opened.

The prime minister will lay the groundwork for several renewable energy projects, such as the 200 MW Dayapur-II wind energy project, the grid-connected 600 MW solar PV power project, the 300 MW Bhuj-II solar power project, and the Khavda solar power project, in an effort to increase the region's output of renewable energy.
