Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start his two-day visit to Gujarat, his home state, where he will officially launch many development projects valued at Rs 82,000 crore.
He is said to be visiting the state for the first time since Operation Sindoor.
During his visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi is expected to use video conferencing from Dahod to officially launch two new trains, including the Vande Bharat Express, according to reports.
The Railway Board's Executive Director (Information and Publicity), Dilip Kumar, stated that the Valsad-Dahod Express and the Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat Express are observed to be among the new services.
During his first stop in Dahod, the prime minister will open the Loco Manufacturing Shop-Rolling Stock Workshop.

The Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat Express, the inaugural train, will run from Sabarmati station to Veraval, which is close to the well-known Somnath temple.
With the exception of Thursdays, it will be open six days a week. It is anticipated that pilgrims and visitors visiting Somnath, one of Gujarat's most popular pilgrimage sites, will profit immensely from the eight-coach train.
Along with launching the Somnath–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train, PM Modi will also open a railway production facility in Dahod that was established under the "Make in India" campaign at a cost of over Rs 21,000 crore.
The Valsad-Dahod Express, the second train, will travel between Valsad and Dahod every day. Starting at 5:50 a.m. from Valsad, it will travel 346 km with 17 coaches. While train 19012 will travel in the other way, train 19011 will travel from Valsad to Dahod.
Bilimora Junction, Navsari, Surat, Ankleshwar Junction, Bharuch Junction, Miyagam Karjan, Vadodara Junction, Samlaya Junction, Derol, Godhra Junction, Piplod Junction, and Limkheda are the twelve stations along the route where the Valsad-Dahod-Express would stop. Every day of the week, it will be in operation.
With the opening of these trains, Gujarat hopes to boost daily commutes and tourism while also enhancing regional connectivity. A statement claims that on Monday, PM Modi would flag off an electric locomotive from Dahod and open a locomotive production facility. After that, he would go to Bhuj to start a number of development projects that will cost over Rs 53,400 crore.
