PMS Bazaar, India's leading alternative investments platform, has announced a collaboration with NSDL Database Management Limited (NDML), an Accreditation Agency, to facilitate the SEBI Accredited Investor certification process for eligible investors and entities.

The partnership is aimed at simplifying and streamlining the certification journey by providing investors with end-to-end assistance.

Through the collaboration, PMS Bazaar seeks to make the Accredited Investor certification process faster, more accessible, and easier to navigate as India's alternative investment ecosystem continues to evolve.

The SEBI Accredited Investor framework is designed to provide eligible investors with greater access to sophisticated investment products and certain regulatory flexibilities. Accredited Investors may also benefit from lower minimum investment thresholds across Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and other alternative investment products, enabling them to participate in investment opportunities that may otherwise have higher entry requirements.

PMS Bazaar said the wider adoption of the Accredited Investor framework could help broaden participation in India's growing alternative investment market.

By simplifying the certification process, the company aims to help more eligible investors understand and access opportunities available under the framework while supporting the industry's shift toward more sophisticated investment avenues.

The initiative will also extend beyond individual investors. PMS Bazaar will assist asset managers, wealth managers, family offices, and distributors in facilitating Accredited Investor certification for their eligible clients through the NDML Accreditation Agency. This is expected to provide financial intermediaries with additional support in helping qualified clients complete the certification process.

As part of the collaboration, investors will receive end-to-end handholding throughout their certification journey. PMS Bazaar stated that there will be no additional platform, service, or processing fee charged by the company for the assistance. Investors will only be required to pay the applicable fees prescribed for the Accredited Investor certification process.

The collaboration comes at a time when alternative investment products are gaining greater attention among investors seeking diversified and sophisticated investment opportunities. By facilitating easier access to the Accredited Investor certification process, PMS Bazaar and NDML aim to support wider participation in this segment while helping eligible investors navigate the regulatory requirements more efficiently.

"Our collaboration with the NDML Accreditation Agency strengthens PMS Bazaar's role in India's alternative investment ecosystem by making Accredited Investor certification simple and efficient. As alternative investments continue to evolve, we believe Accredited Investor certification will play an increasingly important role in broadening investor access while supporting the growth of a well-informed investor community in India," said R Pallavarajan, Founder & Director, PMS Bazaar.
