PNB MetLife appoints Sameer Bansal as new MD and CEO
PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd., a prominent life insurer, has announced the appointment of Sameer Bansal as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2024, pending regulatory approvals. With a robust background spanning over 25 years in financial services, Sameer brings extensive expertise in various domains, including Bancassurance, Agency, Digital, Employee Benefits, and Direct marketing business models. Having joined PNB MetLife in 2007, he currently serves as the Chief Distribution Officer and holds a pivotal position within the leadership team.
Sameer will succeed Ashish Srivastava, who has been appointed as the Managing Director for MetLife Inc.’s Global Shared Services team in India. Leveraging one of the largest bancassurance networks in India, he will drive growth initiatives through strategic bank partnerships.
