Route Mobile Chairman Mark James Reid Resigns
Route Mobile, a provider of cloud communications platforms, stated that Mark James Reid has stepped down as Chairman and Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director, effective at the end of business hours on January 22, 2026.
In a regulatory document, the firm stated that Reid mentioned distraction and other personal obligations as his reason for stepping down.
After leaving the board, Reid has also stepped down from Route Mobile's Audit Committee, Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, and Risk Management Committee.
Reid stated in his resignation letter, 'I am writing to inform the Board that because of my preoccupation and additional personal obligations, I am resigning from my position as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Company effective at the close of business on 22 January 2026.

Route Mobile also declared the appointment of Seckin Arikan as an Additional Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director to its board.
Arikan is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Proximus Global, overseeing the enhancement of the group’s status as a worldwide leader in digital communications and digital identity. Before this, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Leader of the API Business Unit at Vonage.

Proximus Group, the parent company of Route Mobile, has appointed Reid as the Chief Financial Officer.
Reid became part of Proximus in May 2021 and has previously served in senior finance positions at British Airways, Travelport, Yahoo, and Liberty Global, accumulating professional experience in Switzerland, the UK, and the US.

He played a significant role in implementing Proximus Group's inspire2022 strategy, which contributed to the recovery of domestic operations, achieving top-line and EBITDA growth by 2022.
