RWS Appoints Stephen Lamb as Chief Financial Officer

RWS, a worldwide AI solutions firm, today reveals the appointment of Stephen Lamb as Chief Financial Officer and Director. Having over 25 years of experience in international finance leadership, Stephen will manage global finance operations and assist the Board and Executive Team in fostering disciplined growth and sustainable value throughout the Group.

Stephen most recently held the position of Group Finance Director and Board Member at AIM-listed Midwich Group, directing commercial finance, investor relations, capital structure, governance, and transformation efforts.

Ben Faes, CEO of RWS, states, “Stephen is an excellent addition to our leadership team. He has a solid history of enhancing performance, spearheading transformation, and promoting growth through strategic capital investment and mergers and acquisitions. His leadership will be vital as we implement our strategy and strengthen RWS’s role as a technology-driven AI content solutions provider.”

Stephen served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Iron Mountain International, managing financial operations in 37 countries and facilitating substantial growth along with strategic M&A. In his earlier roles, he held senior finance positions at Regus (now part of IWG) and devoted 13 years at Experian, finishing as regional Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific and India region.

Stephen is a certified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham, and has finished executive leadership courses at Henley Management College and Ashridge Business School.
