Tech Visionary Abhishek Makkar Steps into CTO Role at REA India
REA India, the parent entity of Housing.com and PropTiger.com, has hired Abhishek Makkar as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Gurgaon-based Makkar will lead the Engineering and Data Science teams and join REA India's Executive Leadership Team, reporting to CEO Dhruv Agarwala.
With over 19 years of experience in technology leadership, Makkar has a proven track record of driving innovation and scaling technology operations at global tech giants. Prior to joining REA India, he spent seven years at Expedia India, where he led core eCommerce technology initiatives. Makkar has also held senior roles at Amazon, overseeing global engineering teams focused on retail experiences and alternative delivery systems.
