Toyodenso, Minda Corporation Sign Joint Venture for Advanced Automobile Switches

The Japanese company Toyodenso Co. and auto component manufacturer Minda Corporation announced that they had signed a joint venture agreement for advanced automobile switches for the Indian market.

The alliance will offer complete solutions, such as designing, developing, producing, and selling switches for passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and other automotive sectors in the local market, according to the business.

In the afternoon, shares of the auto components manufacturer Minda Corporation had gone down more than one percent at Rs.568.30 each on the BSE.

The stock was down over one percent at Rs.568.85 on the NSE.

According to reports, from Minda Corporation, the collaboration will offer complete solutions for the Indian market, including the design, development, production, and marketing of automotive switches for passenger cars, two-wheelers, and other automotive sectors.

In keeping with the company's synergistic product portfolio and localization of new goods and technologies for the clients, this alliance is perfectly positioned to meet the growing need for sophisticated switches in the Indian automobile industry.

 

Toyodenso will provide innovative technologies and cutting-edge engineering skills through this alliance, while Minda Corporation will offer its extensive knowledge of regional manufacturing and a strong supply chain ecosystem, among other things.

Kiyoshi Koide, President, Toyodenso Co., Ltd., states, “Toyodenso aims to stabilise its business base and will work with SPARK MINDA to develop the Indian market to focus on the manufacturing and sales of automotive parts in India, which is a growing market.”
