Wipro Inks Multi-Year Odido Netherlands Deal

Wipro Limited announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Odido Netherlands BV to revamp the Dutch telecom operator’s IT framework, a step intended to enhance customer experience and promote long-term digital transformation. The declaration was issued via a filing with the stock exchange.

The filing indicates that the collaboration signifies a significant change in Odido's technology strategy, as Wipro is poised to implement its AI-driven platforms and consulting expertise to enhance digital and enterprise systems.

The firm stated that the collaboration would center on simplifying IT and automating processes while enhancing productivity and operational efficiency via a self-funded approach that reinvests savings into fresh digital projects.

Wipro will utilize its WEGA and WINGS AI delivery platforms to assist Odido in creating a more agile and robust technology ecosystem. The initiative also incorporates Designit, Wipro’s experience-driven studio approach, to speed up time-to-market and improve digital interactions at customer touchpoints.

Robert Purdy, Chief IT Officer at Odido Netherlands, stated that the collaboration reflects the company's people-centric philosophy. “At Odido, we aim to humanize technology. Our partnership with Wipro fosters this goal and allows us to elevate the customer experience,” he stated.

Graziella Neuvéglise, Managing Director for Western Europe at Wipro, emphasized that the agreement highlights the company’s capabilities in AI-powered transformation.

She mentioned that the engagement is “consulting-led,” emphasizing that Wipro intends to rethink how technology can “place customers at the center of their transformation.”

At the same time, Wipro's shares closed slightly down even with the announcement. The stock finished at Rs 249.40 on the BSE on Thursday, down 0.30 per cent from its last close of Rs 250.15.
