Yatra said it has onboarded 148 new corporate clients in the past 12 months, representing over Rs 700 crore in annual business potential.
Yatra's emphasis on corporate travel, specifically the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, has shown positive results, leading to substantial growth in bookings for both business and leisure trips.
The Hotels and Packages division of the company saw a 58.9 percent revenue surge, driven by the rising demand for MICE travel and domestic tourism. This uptick in revenue demonstrates the growth of India's tourism infrastructure and the growing number of both domestic and international travelers.
Yatra's success was greatly influenced by the ongoing need for corporate travel and the rebound of leisure tourism, both of which had suffered greatly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company saw a significant 16.2 percent rise in Total Gross Bookings to INR 20,504.8 million (USD 231 million) for the quarter compared to the previous year.
