The organization was founded by Shri Annamalai Chettiar, and is ably led today by Mrs. Kaveri Annamalai, his granddaughter, who is poised to take the company to the next level. Tell us more about ARA as a committed wealth management firm. What are the various services that ARA offers to its clients?
ARA began as a partnership firm, in the name of Trojan and Co at Tennur, Trichy. The company later started its association with BSE in
the 1980s, and with NSE in 1997. In the same year, we started offering DEMAT services. In 2002, we launched the online trading terminal, and in the year 2018, ARA share brokers were upgraded to ARA Wealth, a one-stop shop for all customers’ financial needs. We are now into the 3rd generation at ARA, and as an organization, we are renowned for handing family wealth with great ease.

Today our line of business includes Direct Equity, Advisory Services, Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and structured investments that suits the need of the investor. We continue to pursue our quest for providing the finest customer service, maintaining our valued clients with whom we work, and growing by leaps & bounds.

What sets ARA apart from other players in the market? How are your services designed and rendered to help clients achieve their financial objectives?

What kind of ‘go beyond the norm’ steps do you take to ensure best level benefit for your clients?
I always believe that knowledge is power and our clients should be empowered with knowledge. Hence, we regularly conduct investor awareness programs and investor knowledge series. We try to bring in speakers from different areas, all related to finance and conduct month-on-month meetings, and an annual meeting that is called ARA wealth fest.

The most common questions that arise in every investor’s mind are - When should I enter into the market, how long should I stay and what is the correct time for exit? Though they do have these questions, many don’t have the answers, and they sometimes avoid an important asset class of equity, which heavily impacts the final result. Here is where ARA comes in, as we help them to get the answers for all of these questions, not by timing the market but by creating a discipline for them and a process by which they can accumulate wealth beyond timing the market.
