Lovely Professional University(LPU) is one of the largest universities in India offering UG, PG and Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Management, Allied Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, Sciences and Agriculture. Management Micro Economics & Management. Over the years, LPU has become a research driven university that encourages innovation in every field and has been recognized worldwide. Programs offered by the University are duly approved by the respective statutory and other national bodies.
In the year 2020, faculty members of the university have published about 3000 research publications in collaboration with 86 countries in the peer reviewed international journals and have been cited internationally in 11349 research papers, having hindex 63. Innovative research carried out in LPU has resulted in 600+ patents and LPU runs a full fledged incubation center to assist the students to develop and launch a product or service.
What are the innovative methodologies/ technologies that you deploy across your programs in order to deliver an interactive learning experience for the students?
The teaching learning innovative methodologies/technologies and infrastructure includes ICT enabled smart classrooms/labs studios, lecture theaters, video conferencing facilities, conference/ seminar halls and discussion rooms. Innovation in teaching methodologies has always been the strength of the University. In this regard,career pathways are integrated into the curriculum for guiding them in respective professional competencies. Focus on skill enhancement through the courses offered to the students through live projects, hands-on exposure in industrial software, nurturing operational skills and extending student learning experience through inter disciplinary minors are some of the areas which we prioritize on.

Today, under Ashok's stewardship, LPU is credited to be the largest single campus university in India with more than 30,000 on campus students out of which 24000 students stay on campus, from across all the states of India as well as 40+ countries.
