Highlight your educational and professional background. Also, tell us about your unique skill sets and strengths that differentiate you from your peers in the industry.
After completing my B.E. (Electrical Engineering) from Marathwada University, India in 1972, I went ahead for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Kennedy Western University, USA 2005. I hold a Diploma in Modern Management from British Career Training College 1982 as well as in International Trade from British Management Association 1983. With an honorary Doctorate in Engineering from The Yorker University 2007, I am a certified consultant engineer in the field of Project Management and Electrical Engineering.

I have always focused on myself for not only advancing my professional career, but to share my knowledge with the professional practitioners,

academics in construction and construction-related fields, by publishing books about the various construction and quality management practices to benefit them in their day-to-day professional works. Sharing the knowledge is the motto of authoring these books. I am happy that many professionals, academics have acknowledged their appreciation that these books have helped them in their professional works.

What strategies do you follow to overcome various challenges of customers and meet their requirements and how did you make space for yourself in the industry?
I have experience as an Engineer, Consultant and Author of 6 books related to quality management, construction management subject. I am an internationally recognized quality management professional. Recently I was honored by Albert Schweitzer International Foundation, Europe by ASIF Medal towards my contribution in the field of Quality in Construction Projects. I believe in quality of product/project and regularly emphasize that the product/project meet customer's requirements, free of deficiencies and the fitness to use. I want to always ensure that that product/project meet the quality criteria.

Give a brief account of how methods/strategies that you laid have transformed Sijjeel General Commerce's' entire work culture and client relationships.
At Sijjeel we are committed to achieving total customer satisfaction by providing added value to construction projects with honorable, reliable and cost-effective services to the client. By ascertaining technical and professional expertise for successful completion of the project we insist on continual improvement in the field of technological, professional, and leadership skills to achieve qualitative, competitive, and economic project. We also ensure compliance to related codes, standards to achieve excellence in project delivery and other related services. We have strict compliance to safety, health and environmental practices.

In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that bestowed you with utmost satisfaction - both as an individual and as a Director?
My professional journey was very challenging as it encompasses my advancement from Engineer, Project Engineer, in the field of production, material management, vendor development, construction supervision, design management, construction management, quality management and now being responsible as Advisor and Director.

I am also involved in imparting training in quality management, construction management-related topics. Being an engineering professional and not as an academician, it was challenging to write books which are accepted globally by academician as well as professionals. Very little information and literature is available related to these topics and it was indeed difficult to and research practical data to compile a book for the international audience.

Please mention the awards and recognition you have received in your journey till date.
I am an internationally acclaimed author of 6 useful books titled "Quality Management in Oil and Gas Projects" "Quality Auditing in Construction Projects", "Quality Management in Construction Projects" Second Edition, "Handbook of Construction Management: Scope, Schedule, Cost Control", "Quality Tools for Managing Construction Projects", and "Quality Management in Construction Projects", published by Taylor & Francis Group companies. My book "Quality Management in Construction Projects" is translated into KOREAN Language. I am the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and medals. I have also been honored every year by different organizations worldwide.
