He started his professional journey with Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital a 1200 bed tertiary care facility and during his tenure he had successfully commissioned two tertiary care specialty hospitals in the Pushpagiri campus the heart institute and women and children's hospital. His keenness to be a part of Healthcare Management enabled him to be a commerce graduate and attain an MBA, MA, and Doctorate in addition to being the Chartered Fellow of CIPD UK and AHRI Australia. Top 10 Indian Leaders In Kuwait - 2022
Kuwait, a wealthy petroleum based economy, is one of the richest countries in the world and its currency, Kuwaiti Dinar, is the highest valued unit of currency in the world. Besides petroleum steel manufacturing is Kuwait’s second biggest economy. Economic diversification on large scale has boosted other industries and business in the country, reducing the dependence on petroleum for economy. In 2019, Kuwait's main export products were mineral fuels including oil (89.1 percent of total exports), aircraft and spacecraft (4.3 percent), organic chemicals (3.2 percent), plastics (1.2 percent), iron and steel (0.2 percent), gems and precious metals (0.1 percent) and machinery including computers (0.1 percent).
Country has several MSMEs, which are growing to be the backbone of country’s economy. Expatriates contribute a large section of population, contributing to a good part of revenue of the country. Most of the MSMEs and businesses in the country are owned by expatriates. Indians contribute to a large portion of Kuwait’s expatriate population. According to the Indian ministry of external affairs, there are around 989,000 Indians as on December 2020, constituting the largest expatriate community of the country.
According to the Indian embassy in Kuwait, there are about 28,000 Indians working for the Kuwaiti Government in various jobs like nurses, engineers in national oil companies and a few as scientists. However majority of Indians are employed in private sector, about 5.23 lakh are employed in private sectors.
