101 Digital Appoints Sachin Rajat Sharma as Chief Commercial Officer
101 Digital, a leading provider of next-generation digital banking solutions for embedded finance, greenfield digital banks, and the digital transformation of traditional banks, has appointed Sachin Rajat Sharma as its Chief Commercial Officer. With extensive experience and a proven track record in driving innovation and business transformation across Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East, Sachin is set to play a key role in the company’s growth.
Founded in 2018 by Rana Peries and Rajiv Ellepola, 101 Digital has been at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge banking solutions to leading financial institutions across Africa, the UK, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Sachin’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment as the company seeks to expand its footprint and deepen its impact in these markets.
With more than 20 years of experience, Sachin has led groundbreaking initiatives in banking, payments, and insurance. He is recognized for launching industry-first solutions, including Nexus, a multi-award-winning banking-as-a-service platform, as well as other digital banking and customer engagement innovations. Before joining 101 Digital, Sachin was the Chief Product and Commercial Officer at Audax Financial Technologies, where he co-founded the company and scaled it to serve multiple enterprise clients within its first year.
In his new role, Sachin will drive 101 Digital’s global growth strategy, lead market expansion, and strengthen partnerships with key financial institutions. His leadership will focus on delivering differentiated value propositions, building high-calibre teams, and fostering innovation to transform the digital banking landscape.
