Abbott Appoints Sriram Rajan as Director
Abbott has declared the appointment of Sriram Rajan as Director, Organization & Culture – APAC, starting January 2026. Rajan posted the update on LinkedIn, sharing his enthusiasm for the new position and the chance to enhance people, culture, and leadership skills throughout the region.
He came to Abbott in July 2025 as Director – Talent & Organization Consulting, India, and offers more than 25 years of varied experience across various industries and international markets.
Prior to his tenure at Abbott, Rajan was the Global Director of Leadership Development at Novartis, overseeing capability and leadership development initiatives throughout Novartis operations and global functions for nearly seven years.

His career also encompasses leadership positions at SIG Group in the Middle East, Deloitte Consulting, Deutsche Bank, and HP, where he played a role in extensive people strategy, organizational transformation, and culture development programs.

Throughout the years, Rajan has impacted organizations with more than 35,000 employees, enhancing leadership development, increasing employee engagement metrics, and aligning workforce strategies with business results.
In his role as a Performance and Leadership Coach, he influenced C-suite leadership and culture change, gaining recognition for initiating digital and innovative approaches to people development and frequently speaking at both regional and global leadership events.
Rajan possesses a bachelor’s degree from Kirori Mal College in India and an associate degree in talent management from The Wharton School. He holds certifications in MBTI, Situational Leadership, Coaching, Behavioral Event Interviewing, and Development/Assessment Centers.
