Accor Appoints Ronald Dooremalen as Vice President

Accor has declared the appointment of Ronald Dooremalen as Vice President, People & Culture Operations for Asia, starting January 2026, reinforcing its leadership team as the hospitality group continues to grow its regional presence.

Confirming the news on LinkedIn, Dooremalen stated, “I’m thrilled to announce my appointment as Vice President, People & Culture Operations, Asia,” mentioning his eagerness to work alongside Accor’s Asia Operations leadership to implement effective people strategies, improve capabilities, and achieve robust performance across the group’s hotel offerings in the region.

He expressed his thanks to senior leadership, recognizing the shared support that influenced his career path within the organization.

With over twenty years of international hospitality and personnel leadership experience, Dooremalen offers substantial knowledge in workforce strategy, operational excellence, and organizational growth. He became part of Accor in July 2022 and has since taken on significant leadership roles throughout Southeast Asia, managing Japan, South Korea, India, Singapore, the Philippines, and the Maldives.

Prior to joining Accor, he served in leadership positions at Orchard Hill Residences Singapore, Raffles Singapore, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International in Dubai, and has enhanced hospitality standards throughout Poland, Seychelles, the UK, and broader Asia, including at The Savoy.

Acknowledged as a dynamic and strategic leader, Dooremalen is renowned for his ability to foster transformation, enhance service excellence, and develop high-performing, future-ready teams in diverse cultural settings.
