Accedian Promotes its Founder as Exec. Chairman & COO as CEO

Accedian, a global leader in Network Performance Management Solutions named the company’s founder Patrick Ostiguy as its Executive Chairman of the Board. Along with that, Dion Joannou the Chief Operating Officer at Accedian will be the new CEO of the company and Board Director. Ostiguy will focus on customers and partners while Joannou will shape the vision and strategy of the company thereby leading the company through its next phase of growth and overall success.

With a rich experience of over 30 years in software technology, mobile, cloud and business-oriented IT solutions, Dion is known for his ability to create strategic alliances with organization leaders. Prior to Accedian, Dion served for two years at Viavi as SVP of Sales, Network Service Enablement. Before that, he worked at Nortel Networks for 14 years and he successively drive the Vodafone Group account while based in Europe, he was President of the Caribbean/Latin America region. Dion also holds a BA from Southern Illinois University and MBA from University of Miami in International Business studies.
