Adani Airport Holdings, IHG Hotels & Resorts Ink Five-Hotel Deal

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has entered into a portfolio agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts involving five hotels, which will contribute nearly 1,500 rooms in prime airport and commercial locations across India.
This agreement also signifies the debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, IHG's luxury lifestyle boutique brand, in the Indian market.

The hotels are set to be constructed in Jaipur, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, as elements of integrated developments combining hospitality services and airport proximity.
The collection will encompass a Kimpton hotel situated in Jaipur, in addition to properties under the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands, which are part of forthcoming city developments associated with airports managed by Adani.
The accord is reached in the context of substantial expansion in India's aviation and tourism industries, as airport-centric developments increasingly become key centers for hospitality and commerce, fueled by escalating passenger volumes, domestic travel, and business tourism demand.

Pranav Adani, the Director of Adani Enterprises Limited, stated that the collaboration is intended to develop comprehensive travel and hospitality hubs that complement India's expanding aviation infrastructure.
"As the Adani Group expands its presence across hospitality and airport-led urban infrastructure, our vision is to create world-class destinations that seamlessly integrate travel, stay and urban experiences around India's rapidly growing aviation ecosystem," he says.

AAHL announced that it is engaged in the development of airport city projects covering approximately 663 acres in major urban centers. This initiative aligns with its strategic vision to establish integrated urban ecosystems that seamlessly incorporate aviation, hospitality, retail, and commercial infrastructure.
Sudeep Jain, the Managing Director for South West Asia at IHG Hotels & Resorts, commented that the collaboration exemplifies the expanding prospects within India's hospitality industry, particularly those associated with developments centered around airports.

IHG Hotels & Resorts presently manages 52 properties under six distinct brands within India and is projected to launch an additional 98 properties within the forthcoming three to five years.
