AIensured Secures Funding from STPI and Pontaq
AIensured, a company focused on enabling organizations to test, validate, and govern their AI systems responsibly, has secured funding from the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in collaboration with Pontaq. The funding has been received under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY) scheme implemented by STPI through the NextGen Technology Fund 1, where Pontaq serves as the fund manager. In addition, the company has also raised an undisclosed amount from angel investors.
AIensured is among a select group of innovative startups chosen under this scheme to strengthen India’s capabilities in responsible and ethical AI. The company has received the funding under STPI’s Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS), marking a significant milestone in its journey toward advancing transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI systems.

The funds will be strategically utilized to enhance AIensured’s proprietary technology, broaden its portfolio of AI assurance solutions, and accelerate research and development in the field of ethical and trustworthy AI. These initiatives will empower organizations to mitigate algorithmic risks, ensure compliance with emerging AI governance frameworks, and deploy AI systems that are explainable, unbiased, and transparent.
As India and the United Kingdom deepen their collaboration on Responsible and Ethical AI, through initiatives such as the India–UK Joint Centre for AI and the Technology & Security Initiative, startups like AIensured stand to benefit from an enabling environment that promotes safe, transparent, and accountable AI innovations. Such partnerships open new opportunities for Indian startups to contribute to global standards in responsible AI development and deployment.
