 
	            BMC Helix Appoints Sakaar Anand as Chief People Officer
 
	        
BMC Software announced that it has named Sakaar Anand to serve as India Country Leader and India Human Resources Lead. This appointment is part of a strategic leadership restructuring aimed at strengthening BMC's talent acquisition approach and operational expansion in one of its key global centers.
Anand will replace Shashank Bhushan, who is moving to BMC's main office in Houston, Texas, to take charge of Global Talent Management and Employee Development. Bhushan, a 10-year BMC veteran, will concentrate on developing programs that improve employee capabilities and advance the company's strategic vision of becoming an Autonomous Digital Enterprise.

Bringing over 20 years of expertise in human resources, IT operations, and international delivery, Anand comes to BMC from Bank of New York Mellon Technology, where he served as the head of human resources for India.
His background includes senior management positions at CA Technologies and General Electric. In his new role at BMC, he will manage India's operations spanning various business areas while directing the regional HR strategy.

Eric Olmo, BMC's Senior Vice President of People and Spaces, expressed that the company feels "privileged to welcome a leader of Sakaar's expertise" to its India management team.
