CMS Info Systems Reinforces Management, Appointing Subhash Kelkar and Vijay Iyer

CMS Info Systems, a cash management and payment solutions firm appoints, Subhash Kelkar as Chief Technology Officer. The company also promotes Vijay Iyer as Vice President of the Cash Management Business and Service Delivery Head. Subhash and Vijay are expected to provide further impetus and guidelines to strengthen and expand the company’s business all over the nation. They will be operating from Mumbai.

Subhash has more than 25 years of experience. He has led the digital transformations at brands such as Club Mahindra, Tech Mahindra and TCS. Before joining CMS, Subhash served IIFL Group as its CTO, managing four of the group’s companies. He has even represented the group IT at the IIFL Board. In his new role, Subhash is expected to accelerate the company’s digital transformation, besides managing the Managed Services Technology Projects.

Being a CIT industry veteran, Vijay has worked at Brinks, Secure Value and AGS. With his presence, the company looks forward to achieve the next phase of growth in the Cash Management Business. At CMS, Vijay will be monitoring the operations in the North and central zones, and the process of building CMS as an agile commercial, finance and fleet organization. He joined CMS in December 2018.

As of April 2019, the country’s economy has again seen an uptrend in the currency circulation of Rs.21.42 lakh crore, recording an increase of 17.5 percent on a year over year basis.

CMS has a network spanning over 105,000 ATMs and retail outlets. Even after demonetization, cash continues to be in strong demand and its demand will further continue to grow. This has resulted in rise of ATM transaction volumes. As of April 2019, the country’s economy has again seen an uptrend in the currency circulation of Rs.21.42 lakh crore, recording an increase of 17.5 percent on a year over year basis.
