CySecK 2025–26 Conference Highlights Karnataka's Cybersecurity Leaders

The Cyber Security Centre of Excellence Karnataka (CySecK), Karnataka’s flagship cybersecurity initiative, hosted its two-day annual conference on March 16–17 at the J N Tata Auditorium in Bengaluru.

The conference, one of the largest multi-stakeholder cybersecurity gatherings in the state, convened government leaders, industry experts, startups, academia, and students to advance Karnataka’s ambition of becoming a global cybersecurity hub.

Key initiatives included large-scale Capture The Flag (CTF) hackathons, cybersecurity bootcamps, law enforcement training, and strategic collaborations with global organizations and institutions.

CySecK-supported startups have earned national recognition and international exposure, including participation in global forums and prestigious innovation programs.

The conference featured high-impact panel discussions on cybersecurity for public good, emerging privacy regulations, and building resilience in the quantum era.

Thought leaders explored strategies to position Karnataka as a global cybersecurity destination, while specialized workshops engaged law enforcement and academic institutions.

Participants also enjoyed a grand CTF competition and student-focused programs, alongside recognition for startups and showcases highlighting the region’s vibrant cybersecurity ecosystem.

The conference spotlighted emerging areas such as cyber resilience, privacy frameworks, and sustainable cybersecurity innovation models.

Over the past year, CySecK has demonstrated measurable impact across skilling, innovation, and global engagement:

  • 4000+ individuals impacted through training, awareness, and ecosystem programs
  • 440+ women beneficiaries, reinforcing inclusive participation in cybersecurity
  • 300+ faculty trained through structured Faculty Development Programs across premier institutions
  • 1100+ learners certified via the Cybersmart program, strengthening foundational cyber awareness
  • 200+ students trained through finishing school cohorts with industry-aligned curriculum
  • 10+ research papers and publications, contributing to global cybersecurity knowledge
  • 6 startups accelerated under the H.A.C.K. program, with exposure to investors and global platforms
  • 5+ national and international events represented, positioning Karnataka on the global cybersecurity map
