Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, is set to travel to Assam on November 7-8, followed by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's visit on November 9. Throughout her two-day stay, the Finance Minister will ceremonially open two significant projects in Guwahati and establish the cornerstone for a state university.

According to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Union Finance Minister will tour the Jagiroad Semiconductor facility location on November 7.

That same day, she will officially launch the Guwahati Gateway Terminal, an advanced river terminal, along with the Guwahati riverfront development project.

The following day, November 8, will see her establishing the foundation stone for Swahid Kanaklata Barua State University located at Bholaguri tea estate in Gohpur, as mentioned by the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's arrival in Assam is planned for November 9. The Chief Minister of Assam noted that the Union Defence Minister will participate in a grand Air Show at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati on November 9.

The Indian Air Force is preparing to mesmerize the heavens above Guwahati with an impressive Air Force Day aerial demonstration along the Brahmaputra River shores on November 9.

This significant occasion will display the IAF's precision, expertise, and capabilities, providing residents with an exceptional chance to observe the country's air power firsthand. This year's Air Force Day commemorations adopt the theme "Infallible, Impervious and Precise" - "acuuk, abhedy v sttiik", representing the IAF's steadfast dedication to operational superiority, strength, and precision in all operations.

The exhibition will present a visual spectacle of velocity, expertise, and coordination, featuring advanced fighter jets, cargo aircraft, and helicopters performing in organized formations.

 

Viewers will experience exciting aerial stunts and formation presentations that reflect the theme, showcasing the IAF's advanced technology and outstanding expertise.
