Former Airtel Payments Bank CMO Shilpi Kapoor Joins BharatPe

BharatPe, a financial technology company, revealed that it has hired Shilpi Kapoor for the position of Head of Marketing. In her new capacity, Kapoor will oversee brand development, comprehensive marketing strategies, and digital expansion efforts throughout BharatPe's range of services.
Before joining BharatPe, Kapoor held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Airtel Payments Bank, where she played a key role in creating the "Safe Second Account" market segment, expanded the monthly active user base to exceed 100 million, and enhanced customer recruitment, brand credibility, and online engagement, according to the company's statement.

Bringing more than 20 years of expertise spanning banking and financial services, telecommunications, automobile, and consumer goods industries, Kapoor has occupied executive marketing positions at companies including American Express, Renault, Godfrey Phillips, Bharti Airtel, and Coca-Cola.

BharatPe has launched BharatPeX, a new PAPG-online brand featuring an "X-factor" designed to assist companies in streamlining their payment processes. The service offers a contemporary online payment gateway supporting cards, internet banking, and UPI, while enabling organizations to retain customer information within their proprietary applications.
The solution seeks to facilitate quicker payment integration for businesses, enhance transaction completion rates, and provide authority over customer information. BharatPeX merges cutting-edge payment technology with a deployment-focused strategy to streamline commercial transactions.
