Google and NBCUniversal to Retain Programs on YouTube TV

Alphabet's Google and NBCUniversal, owned by Comcast, have finalized a multi-year deal to retain NBC programs like "Sunday Night Football" and "America's Got Talent" on YouTube TV, concluding a challenging negotiation.
YouTube TV, a major pay-TV distributor in the US, will offer NBCUniversal's complete range of networks, including NBC and CNBC, as per a statement from the companies.
YouTube, also a division of Alphabet, will provide NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service via its Primetime Channels, a platform where users can enroll in third-party streaming services through the YouTube app.
“This agreement strengthens our enduring collaboration with NBCU while responding to the changing media environment and acknowledging the significance of providing content in the manner and location preferred by viewers,” stated Justin Connolly, global head of media and sports at YouTube.
The deal encompasses a multi-year prolongation of Peacock's presence on Google's Android platforms, such as Google Play and Google TV.
