The agency announced it would utilize its data-centric planning framework and AI-driven consumer insights tools to enhance consumer interaction and promote business expansion for the matchmaking platform, which includes brands like BharatMatrimony, Elite Matrimony, Tamil Matrimony, and Telugu Matrimony.

The collaboration arises as Havas Media India intensifies its emphasis on South India, a territory the agency identified as a vital growth driver. In the previous year, the firm has grown its operations in Bengaluru and Chennai, while also enhancing leadership and cohesive capabilities in the market.

Commenting on the partnership, Arjun Bhatia, Chief Marketing Officer, Matrimony.com says, “As the leader in online matchmaking in India, Matrimony.com serves millions of consumers across diverse languages, communities and geographies. Partnering with Havas Media India is an important step in our journey. Their integrated media ecosystem, AI-led capabilities and strong consumer insight will help us scale our brands with greater precision and impact. We look forward to building a strong, outcome-driven partnership that further cements our category leadership.”

We are continuing to invest aggressively across talent, technology, AI-powered solutions and regional expertise to build future-ready growth models for brands.”

Uday Mohan, Chief Operating Officer, Havas Media India & Havas Play says, “Matrimony.com is a category-defining brand with deep cultural relevance and a strong consumer connect across India".

"This partnership is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful and data-driven media experiences that create real business impact".

"Our South operations have seen tremendous momentum over the past year, and this win further reinforces our position as a strong integrated media partner for brands looking to scale in the region.”

The agency's client list in South India features brands like Swiggy, V-Guard, Eurogrip, Muthoot FinCorp, Joyalukkas, and Modenik Lifestyle, highlighting increasing competition among agencies to attract digital-first and consumer-centric businesses arising from the area.

In line with its growth, Havas Media India has recently enhanced its Bengaluru operations under the Havas Village framework, unifying media, digital, content, commerce, and technology teams in a single location. The firm has also broadened its Chennai operations to enhance local knowledge and improve client service abilities.
