HCLTech Names Bhavani Balasubramanian as Independent Director
HCL Technologies, a global technology company, has appointed Bhavani Balasubramanian as an Independent Director. With a background as a qualified Chartered Accountant, Bhavani brings over four decades of auditing expertise, having worked with diverse clients including listed companies and multinational entities across various industries. She has held various leadership roles, including serving as the Audit and Assurance Partner for Deloitte India. Bhavani has actively participated as a member of Deloitte's international councils and working groups. In addition to her role at HCLTech, she also holds positions as an Independent Director on the Boards of other publicly traded companies.
Having served as a member of the Auditing Standards Board at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bhavani Balasubramanian holds fellowship status in both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In her current role as a Strategic Consultant specializing in diversity and inclusion, her wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge have led to her appointment as a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committees of the Company.
