HUL Appoints Yogesh Mulgaonkar as CFO Beauty & Wellbeing

Yogesh Mulgaonkar has assumed the position of CFO, Beauty & Wellbeing at Hindustan Unilever (HUL), while also taking charge as Head of Investor Relations, representing another senior finance leadership position in his nearly two-decade tenure with the organization.
He was earlier the VP Finance/CFO, Personal Care, Supply Chain, and Head of Investor Relations at HUL, a role he occupied since April 2025.

Mulgaonkar has dedicated the majority of his career to HUL and its parent company Unilever, starting his journey with the firm in 2005 via the Unilever Future Leaders Programme after becoming a chartered accountant.
Throughout the years, he has occupied positions in finance, supply chain, M&A, treasury, and commercial sectors within the organization.
Prior to his current role, Mulgaonkar held the position of VP Finance - Personal Care & Supply Chain Finance CFO at Unilever, and previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Arabia & Personal Care in the Middle East and Turkey, with a base in Dubai. From 2020 to 2023, he held the position of Global Strategy Finance Director and was Chief of Staff to the Unilever CFO in London.
Mulgaonkar's previous positions at HUL comprise Director - Mergers Integration & Change Management, in which he directed the corporate and financial integration of GSK with HUL. He additionally held the position of Director - M&A, Treasury and Insurance, leading HUL's strategy and M&A initiatives.

From 2015 to 2018, he served as the Finance Head for Modern Trade & E-commerce, managing the finance operations for HUL's e-commerce and modern trade sectors, encompassing trade-spend returns, profit margins, working capital, and commercial oversight. His career at HUL encompasses positions in supply chain planning, commercial management of factories, and finance for beverage categories.
In his new position, Mulgaonkar will manage finance for HUL's Beauty & Wellbeing division while still directing investor relations.
His career encompasses finance transformation, controls, supply chain, M&A, treasury, commercial finance, and business partnering, providing him expertise across various functions of HUL and Unilever. He is part of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India's Committee for Chartered Accountants in Industry, Entrepreneurship & Public Service.
Earlier, the Government of Telangana and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) have declared a collaboration to implement Suvidha’s social innovation model throughout the urban local bodies in the state. As part of the collaboration, HUL will act as a knowledge and design partner, providing technical expertise, operational insights, and behavior change strategies derived from its Suvidha model in Mumbai over the last ten years. The Telangana Government plans to apply these insights to create and manage centers following the Suvidha model.

Inaugurated in Mumbai in 2016, Suvidha is HUL’s premier social initiative that combines clean toilets, safe drinking water, showers, and laundry services in a single location. Running continuously, the model currently covers 26 centers and caters to over 600,000 individuals annually in collaboration with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, HSBC India, and JSW Foundation.
This public-private collaboration aids Telangana in enhancing urban sanitation through the establishment of top-notch, accessible public hygiene amenities. It shows how governmental leadership and private sector knowledge can collaborate to provide dignified sanitation solutions on a large scale.
