Hyundai Motor India and Jio-bp Integrate EV Charging Networks

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) and Jio-bp have joined forces to merge their EV charging networks, enhancing the availability of public charging facilities for EV users throughout India.
The collaboration will see over 7,000 Jio-bp pulse charging stations incorporated into HMIL’s myHyundai app in more than 300 cities. This expands the charging ecosystem available through the platform from over 30,000 to more than 37,000 charging points.
Jio-bp’s network features DC fast chargers between 60 kW and 480 kW, boasting a stated network uptime of 96 percent. Its charging stations are also located along key national highways, facilitating long-distance journeys for electric vehicle users.
The integration will enable EV users, regardless of vehicle brand, to find and use charging stations available through the myHyundai app. Simultaneously, HMIL’s DC fast-charging network, with its 183 active stations, will slowly be integrated into the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app.
