IIT Roorkee, IvyCap Ventures, NuQuant Launch Endowment Fund
The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has partnered with IvyCap Ventures and NuQuant to establish a Super Endowment Fund aiming for a target corpus of around Rs 1,000 crore.
The Super Endowment Fund, integral to the Bharat Innovates initiative, aims to serve as an enduring and self-reliant capital source to enhance India’s innovation landscape by providing lasting and sustainable assistance for deep-tech startups.
The Fund seeks to promote research excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer throughout the IIT Network.

“The Super Endowment is the most exciting chapter yet in a journey we began with India’s first endowment fund at IIT Delhi,” says Vikram Gupta, Founder & Managing Partner, IvyCap Ventures.

The suggested endowment framework intends to enhance connections among academia, industry, investors, and alumni networks, facilitating ongoing support for innovative technologies, the establishment of startups, intellectual property development, and societal influence. IvyCap Ventures will manage the endowment, recognized as a leader in India's endowment ecosystem for its innovation in institution-linked investments and endowment models.
