India and Japan to collaborate to Launch Chandrayaan 5

imageIn a significant advancement in space collaboration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that India and Japan will collaborate to launch Chandrayaan 5, India's fifth lunar mission. PM Modi announced in his speech in Tokyo that ISRO will work with the Japanese space agency JAXA for the launch of Chandrayaan 5.

"We applaud the agreement between ISRO and JAXA for collaboration on the Chandrayaan 5 Mission." "Our collaborative efforts will transcend earthly limits and serve as a representation of humanity’s advancement in space," stated PM Narendra Modi in his address at the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit.

"I am pleased that India and Japan are collaborating for the upcoming edition of the Chandrayaan series or the LUPEX (Lunar Polar Exploration) mission," he stated earlier today in an interview with The Yomiuri Shimbun.

PM Modi emphasized that the influence of space science is connected to advancements in our everyday lives, including agriculture, disaster management, communications, and more.

"I am sure that our research teams will collaborate to expand the limits of space science. Our collaboration in space will enhance perspectives above us and also uplift lives in our surroundings,” he stated.

During the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he and Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba aimed for an investment of 10 trillion yen in the upcoming 10 years.

“We have established a goal of 10 trillion yen investment in India from Japan over the next decade,” PM Modi stated following his discussions with his Japanese counterpart.
