ITCITC Hotels, India’s leading hospitality chain, has reached a significant milestone in its growth trajectory by announcing the opening of its 25th property under the Welcomhotel brand. The latest addition, Welcomhotel Belagavi in Karnataka, underscores ITC Hotels' robust asset-right expansion strategy and showcases the brand’s ability to adapt to diverse market demands while consistently delivering exceptional service and hospitality.

The Welcomhotel brand has emerged as a key growth driver for ITC Hotels, establishing itself as a prominent player in India’s hospitality sector. Over the past five years (FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24), the brand has launched seven managed hotels and three owned assets, totaling 916 keys. In the last financial year alone, four new management deals comprising 406 keys were signed, with these properties set to open over the next four to five years.

Anil Chadha, Chief Executive of ITC Hotels, celebrated the milestone, stating, "The expansion of the Welcomhotel brand is a significant achievement for ITC Hotels. Welcomhotel is the new-age travelers' key to curated immersive experiences. Present in locations ranging from hills to beaches, and deserts to cities, the opening and signing of more properties under the Welcomhotel brand is aligned with ITC Hotels’ asset-right growth strategy to take our brand and services to Tier 2 markets in addition to prime metro cities".

Chadha added, "Welcomhotel Belagavi, our 25th property, embodies our endeavor to create unparalleled hospitality experiences, ensuring that guests enjoy a luxurious stay in harmony with the environment. We look forward to continuing this journey of growth and excellence".

Welcomhotel properties skillfully blend local aesthetics with modern-day comforts, complemented by ITC Hotels' renowned culinary expertise. The brand’s portfolio includes properties in major cities such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, as well as picturesque destinations like Pahalgam, Mussoorie, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Khimsar, Amritsar, Katra, Chandigarh, Shimla, Chail, Manali, Vadodara, Visakhapatnam, Port Blair, Guntur, Coimbatore, Mahabalipuram, Aurangabad, Ahmedabad, and now Belagavi. This demonstrates a pan-India presence well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of its guests.

Welcomhotel Belagavi features 116 rooms and offers nine venues, including two grand ballrooms, a conference room, and an open sky deck. The property provides an array of dining options, such as WelcomCafe, an all-day dining restaurant serving global and Indian regional cuisine; Dough & Co., a deli offering freshly baked treats and beverages; and Swizzle Bar, where guests can enjoy classic and signature cocktails paired with finger food.
