JKJK Cement Ltd., a prominent leader in the building materials industry, and one of India's top producers of Grey Cement and the world’s largest manufacturer of White Cement, recently celebrated the 140-year milestone of its parent company, JK Organisation. The grand event, held in New Delhi, honored the group’s rich history, its significant role in various sectors of the Indian economy, and the steadfast commitment of its employees and partners.

The celebration brought together distinguished dignitaries, industry professionals, and key stakeholders. Lieutenant Governor of New Delhi, Mr. VK Saxena, who began his professional journey at JK Cement, and Mr. Rajeev Shukla, Rajya Sabha Member, attended the event alongside prominent leaders from JK Organisation, including Dr. Nidhipati Singhania, Vice President, Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, and Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint MD and CEO of JK Cement, all of whom commemorated this significant occasion.

Speaking on JK Organisation's legacy, Dr. Nidhipati Singhania expressed immense pride in the company’s foundational values of innovation, quality, and service to the nation. He emphasized, "Celebrating 140 years of JK Organisation fills us with immense pride and gratitude for a legacy built on these values. Our journey is not just about business achievements, but also about making a positive impact in the industries and communities we touch. The milestones we’ve reached reflect our ongoing contribution to India's industrial and infrastructural development".

A key highlight of the event was the acknowledgment of the long-serving employees and partners who have been with JK Cement for decades. This recognition underscored the company’s core values of loyalty and collaboration, which have been essential to its global success and long-standing partnerships.

Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director of JK Cement, emphasized that 2024 marks three key milestones 140 years of JK Organisation, 50 years in the Grey Cement business, and 40 years in the White Cement segment. "This year not only celebrates 140 years of JK Organisation but also marks half a century in Grey Cement and four decades in White Cement, further strengthening our leadership in the industry. Our recent move into coal mining reflects our commitment to vertical integration and sustainable resource management. We are focused on adapting to changing times while driving positive change for all our stakeholders and the nation".

Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint MD and CEO of JK Cement, highlighted the company’s dedication to innovation and sustainability. He stated, “Our journey is defined by resilience and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We are committed to adopting advanced technology and sustainable practices, which will not only help us maintain our leadership but also contribute meaningfully to India's growth. Shri VK Saxena, Chief Guest and Lieutenant Governor of New Delhi, shared a personal connection with JK Cement, reflecting on his early career with the company. "It’s a privilege to be part of this celebration, as JK Cement is where I began my career as an Assistant Officer in Gotan, Rajasthan. My 11 years at JK Cement’s White Cement plant gave me invaluable experience in corporate operations, decision-making, and teamwork, which has benefited me throughout my career. I extend my best wishes to JK Cement for its future contributions to nation-building".
