Knauf India Appoints Pallavi Poddar as Chief Human Resources Officer

Knauf India has named Pallavi Poddar as Chief Human Resources Officer, as the materials company aims to enhance its human resources and organizational abilities, per company details.
In her new position, Poddar will oversee the company's HR strategy concerning talent transformation, leadership enhancement, and organizational effectiveness, emphasizing the creation of a high-performance culture that supports business growth.
The appointment indicates Knauf India’s aim to enhance its emphasis on people-oriented transformation while broadening its operations and market presence.
Poddar will manage essential domains like operations, talent enhancement, and culture development initiatives, intended to aid the company’s upcoming growth stage.
oddar offers more than twenty years of experience in the industrial and manufacturing industries. She most recently held the position of CHRO at Fenesta Windows, where she directed the overall talent strategy and collaborated with business leaders on transformation projects.
Previously, she served as Regional HR Director for India, the Middle East, and Africa at Ingersoll Rand, where she led HR strategy throughout the region, emphasizing organizational design, talent management, and change leadership.

Her previous positions consist of leadership roles at Schneider Electric and Nestlé, along with experience at Saint-Gobain, where she focused on talent acquisition, performance management, and HR processes for manufacturing.
