Kult E-Commerce Names Parag Gupta as Chief Financial Officer

Kult, the AI-powered personalization and beauty platform based in India, has disclosed the selection of Parag Gupta as its Chief Financial Officer. With a notable background as a Chartered Accountant and accomplished Business Transformation Leader, Parag offers a wealth of expertise accumulated over two decades in advancing financial performance and fostering strategic expansion within burgeoning industries.

At a crucial juncture for Kult, Parag has come on board to assist in the company's formidable growth objectives, such as finalizing substantial inventory financing deals with financial institutions and banks.

His significant background in expanding worldwide operations and overseeing businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars will play a key role in enhancing Kult's financial tactics.

Before becoming a part of Kult, Parag had significant experience in financial leadership roles at various multinational companies. He was the Group CFO at College Dekho and its associated entities, overseeing financial operations and market entry strategy for PayPal India, serving as the CFO of AT&T in India, and acting as the Group CFO for Nimbuzz BVI where he implemented financial controls globally.

In his career, he also handled offshore resources and managed multi-phase accounting transitions for organizations like Washington Mutual Bank and Dell International Services.

With a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investor relations, and business transformation, Parag is well-suited to support Kult's strategic objectives after the successful completion of its $20 million Series A funding.

Parag's hiring is a key aspect of Kult's ongoing effort to bolster its leadership team, along with recent additions like Rishi, who is now serving as Chief Business Officer and previously worked with Nykaa, Jabong, and Noon, and Ravish, who has taken on the role of Head of Marketing. 

This newly reinforced management team brings together extensive knowledge in e-commerce, beauty, and technology, showcasing Kult's commitment to transforming the beauty shopping experience in India through its innovative technology-driven approach.
