Granules India Names Vinodkumar Parur as its New CHRO

Granules India has named Vinodkumar Parur as its new chief human resources officer, starting from 17 November 2025, after the resignation of the former CHRO Atul Dhavle, the company stated.

Dhavle, who resigned on 16 November 2025, will remain in his position throughout his notice period to facilitate a seamless transition at the Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company. The company announced that Parur will also be named as part of its senior management team.

Parur offers over 24 years of HR leadership expertise in manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure.

His experience involves guiding HR operations during IPO preparations, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, deploying HRMS systems, and fostering leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.

Prior to his tenure at Granules India, Parur held the position of CHRO at both RR Kabel Limited and Nilkamal Limited. He has additionally occupied senior HR positions at A.T.E. Group and Schindler India.

He possesses a master’s degree in management studies specializing in human resources from PIMSR, Mumbai University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce and economics from NMIMS affiliated with Mumbai University. He holds certifications in various HR assessment and training programs and serves on advisory and academic boards.

Granules India, established in 1991, is among the limited pharmaceutical companies worldwide that operates throughout the complete manufacturing value chain — encompassing active pharmaceutical ingredients, formulation intermediates, and final dosages.

The firm provides services to over 300 clients in both regulated and semi-regulated markets in more than 80 nations. It runs 10 production plants, eight located in India and two in the United States, having obtained regulatory approvals from organizations such as the US FDA, EU GMP, WHO GMP, and TGA.

The appointment highlights the increasing importance of HR in facilitating intricate, internationally linked pharmaceutical activities. Parur’s diverse experience across sectors is anticipated to be vital for Granules India in enhancing its talent pipeline and organizational skills as it expands its global presence.

The organization has not announced additional leadership changes but stated that the shift will aid its long-term growth strategy in global markets.
