MediBuddy Appoints Shalabh Shrivastava as Head of Operations

MediBuddy, India’s largest digital healthcare platform, serving over 37 million lives and more than 1,200 corporates across the country, today announced the appointment of Shalabh Shrivastava as Head of Operations. The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership as it scales its healthcare offerings across enterprises, insurers and consumers.
Shrivastava brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling high-volume operations across consumer technology, e-commerce, and retail and consulting. Most recently, he led product, design and operations for Swiggy’s driver organization, supporting one of India’s largest hyperlocal delivery networks.
At MediBuddy, he will focus on strengthening the systems and processes that support the company’s growing healthcare network, with an emphasis on building more effective operations, technology-led automation and the execution capabilities needed to scale.
His appointment comes as MediBuddy enters a new phase of growth. The company reported its first EBITDA-positive quarter in Q4 FY26, with an annual revenue run rate exceeding ₹1,500 crore. Online consultations also grew by more than 90% year-on-year during the quarter.

“Shalabh brings this mindset along with deep experience building and scaling operations and supply chains across consumer technology companies. His ability to build strong teams and simplify complex problems will be valuable as we continue to scale the organisation and think long term about the healthcare experience we want to create for end consumers. We are confident his leadership will help strengthen our operations and support our larger purpose of making quality healthcare more accessible,” adds Satish.
Before Swiggy, he spent more than a decade at Flipkart, holding leadership roles across first-mile, last-mile and thirdparty logistics before becoming VP & National Head of Large & Furniture Supply Chain. During his tenure at Flipkart, he led 10X-scale transformation initiatives across the company’s small-parcel last-mile network and end-to end volumetric supply chain.
Earlier in his career, Shrivastava held roles at Reliance Retail, Cognizant and Ernst & Young, building experience across retail, consulting and investment banking. At Reliance Retail, he worked across loyalty, analytics and CRM, adding a customer and data-led dimension to his operational experience.
Across these roles, Shrivastava has focused on a common challenge: building operating systems that can keep pace as businesses move from early scale to high-volume execution, while balancing efficiency, reliability and customer experience.
As MediBuddy scales from this base, the focus is increasingly shifting towards building a more efficient operating model across its healthcare delivery network. Shrivastava’s experience in managing complex, high-volume consumer businesses is expected to help the company strengthen the operational infrastructure needed to support this growth without compromising customer experience.

Shalabh Shrivastava, Head of Operations, MediBuddy, said, “What Satish and Enba have built at MediBuddy is both ambitious and meaningful. They have created a platform that brings together multiple parts of the healthcare ecosystem with the larger goal of making quality care more accessible. Their vision, and the opportunity to help shape its next chapter, is what drew me to MediBuddy. My years in consumer technology have taught me how much thoughtful execution matters in building businesses at scale, and I look forward to bringing that experience to healthcare, working with the team and contributing to what MediBuddy can build from here.”
Shrivastava holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur, bringing together an engineering foundation with expertise in business and management.
With India’s digital-health market projected to grow from $14.50 billion in 2024 to $106.97 billion by 2033, the next challenge is scaling healthcare reliably. Serving 37 million+ lives through a network of 140,000+ doctors, 7,500+ hospitals and clinics, 7,700+ diagnostic centres and 10,000+ pharmacies, MediBuddy is building at significant scale. Shrivastava brings experience of making millions of customer interactions work every day, now applying that operating discipline to healthcare, where reliability matters far more than convenience.
