InsuranceDekho, RenewBuy Form Largest AI-led Insurance Platform

InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy announced that they have partnered to establish the largest artificial intelligence (AI)-driven insurance distribution platform in the country, based on point of sales person (PoSP) premium generated for 2025-2026.
The merged organization boasts a total premium portfolio surpassing Rs.6,600 crore. As of March 31, 2026, it boasts a network comprising more than 600,000 digital partners and covers 98.57 percent of India's pin codes.
Collectively, the two organizations have enabled the distribution of over 2 crore insurance policies since their establishment.

The combined business will function under the InsuranceDekho name and be directed by Ankit Agrawal as chief executive officer (CEO). Leaders from both InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy will retain important leadership positions in the merged organization to manage strategy and business implementation.
The transaction effectively combines InsuranceDekho’s robust distribution network in northern and western India with RenewBuy’s solid presence in the south, resulting in a cohesive platform that provides seamless coverage across India.
Through the combination of InsuranceDekho’s real-time plan suggestion tools and RenewBuy’s technology framework, the organization is implementing an AI-driven flywheel that includes automated partner onboarding, seamless digital policy issuance, and AI-based advisory services.
The platform will operate as an open, multi-insurer system providing more than 750 products from 52 insurers in motor, health, life, travel, and commercial sectors. This scale seeks to close the gap between urban and rural areas by providing partner agents in smaller towns and villages with the same digital tools, product offerings, and operational assistance as those in metropolitan regions.
